Soundtrack Dependence Syndrome (aka S.D.S.) (noun) – The inability to feel the emotion of a moment without an appropriate accompanying piece of music.

Only shed tears when violin strings accompany two lovers reuniting?  Only think to distrust someone when sinister chords play upon their arrival?  Only feel like driving when “Black Betty” is playing on the radio?
